How can we make learning Maths, for instance, more fun and hands on?
LASeR is looking for young potentials interested building tech projects towards solving this question. Through a combination of coding and understanding of the Education industry , we are looking for those who want to change the system ! It can be YOU !
Use Tech to innovate in Education and design solutions
Do you want to work on a digital project and qualify for the Young Summit that will take place spring 2025 at the BAU University?
Are you a student in Secondary (grade 11 or 12 in specific) and interested in Tech fields ?
Do you want to build a project from scratch, while learning all about coding, marketing , UX, UI ?
Through a 9 month journey, students will embark on a three phase journey :
- Learning:
An intensive 2 month summer school that will take place in partnership with BAU - Beirut Arab University. You can choose of the following four tracks :
- Computer science and AI
- Math & Data Sciences
- Digital Communication : Design , UX , UI
- Research and Community Work
All four tracks will come together to work in teams to build projects that help solve a problem in the education World.
- Mentorship:
4 month of intensive work within your team and supervised by a group of mentors to help your project see the light.
- Summit:
Now it’s time to present ✨ ! The Young Summit is a yearly summit, hosting interesting guest speakers and inspiring young students in schools and universities to be solvers. You’ll get to pitch your project. LASeR along its partners , schools, universities and investors will be choosing the best projects to move into implementation. This is not your usual training, it’s YOU building a project from scratch, at a very young age 😉
